Meet the Team

Neil Pownall
Neil founded Sunrise Facilities Management Ltd back in 2019 when he started as a consultant to numerous Healthcare companies. With a BSc in Building surveying and a Master Diploma in Facilities Management, he has 30 years’ experience in the sector, having work in FM, Development and Procurement roles for various large organisations. A father of 2 daughters and owner of the office cockapoo, his daily routine is a 5:30am start, 6am gym, quick ice bath, school run, dog walk and into the office ready for what the day holds. Neil says, ‘Apart from the obvious risk taking, innovation and hard work, I’ve learnt that dogged consistency, unbreakable resilience and a little patience has been my key to success. Together with a professional, hard-working team I’m proud of my two daughters that make it all worthwhile, I’ve found the perfect formula with Sunrise Facilities Management’.

Adam Smith
I am dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation of all facilities, procurement and contracts management that drive efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. With over 10 years experience in FM both in a commercial and care background setting, Sunrise feels like the perfect fit! Being with Sunrise for over 3 years I have watched the company grow from strength to strength with new internal roles and departments it’s an exciting sign for what the future holds. Outside of the office I ‘pretend’ to go the gym most nights! That along with being a season ticket holder at Anfield keeps me more than occupied evenings and weekends.

Adam Lloyd
With a wealth of experience across operations, hospitality, and facilities management, Adam Lloyd leads our Helpdesk and Compliance teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the care homes and shops we manage. Since transitioning into Property and Facilities Management, Adam has focused on keeping buildings running efficiently and teams working effectively. Outside of work, Adam is a passionate basketball coach and player, a keen hiker and a dedicated fan of sci-fi and fantasy—whether writing, watching, or debating the merits of a classic reboot over a pint.
